  • ableism: discrimination and social prejudice against those who fall outside what mainstream society has defined as "normal" abilities
  • bias: in favor of or against one thing, person or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair
  • disability: a barrier (big or small) experienced based on auditory, cognitive, psychological, physical, body structure, speech, or visual abilities
  • access barrier: any obstruction that prevents people with disabilities from using standard facilities, equipment, and resources

  • adhd: a developmental disability characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity
  • epilepsy: a condition in which people affected have seizures triggered by flashing or flickering lights, or patterns
  • autism: conditions characterized by some degree of impaired social behavior, communication and language, and a narrow range of interests and activities that are both unique to the individual and carried out repetitively
