- malware: bad software installed on a computer to damage or harm it (ex. viruses, ransomware, spyware, etc.)
- phishing: a fraudulent attempt to gain a victim’s personal or sensitive information, usually conducted through email or instant messaging.
- ransomware: a form of malware that locks your device or data, demanding payment for release.

- wannacry: a ransomware which made people very upset.
