QUESTIONS LIST:

• malware: bad software installed on a computer to damage or harm it (ex. viruses, ransomware, spyware, etc.)
• phishing: a fraudulent attempt to gain a victim’s personal or sensitive information, usually conducted through email or instant messaging.
• ransomware: a form of malware that locks your device or data, demanding payment for release.
• cipher: a decryptor... also an encryptor. (you'll need this for the final step).
• cloud: global network for servers to share and store information. it doesn’t rain from the sky though!
• internet: the online network we use to share information around the world - you use it every day!
• login: the initial password or code used to access accounts, systems and devices.
• social engineering: the act of manipulating people into divulging confidential information.
• trojan: a type of malware, also an inhabitant of ancient troy.
• data: a _ breach is when a hacker successfully breaks into a system and exposes private information.
• update: always _ your devices and software when the newest version is available!
• firewall: super mario can easily jump through this, but hackers maybe not.
• zeroday: a vulnerability that is exploited before it is known to the software developer.
• virus: malware that “infects” a computer by corrupting or erasing information and sending it to hacker.
• bluetooth: wireless short-range connection for devices in the same network. phones, computers etc.
• wannacry: a ransomware which made people very upset.
